Tom Jackson

Tom Jackson is a young British event rider with several 5* runs to his name. He is based in Surrey with fiancée Sabrina Pryer. His Father is a farrier and his Mother rode dressage horses before starting a family. Tom has two siblings.

Tom’s first top-level ride was WALTHAM FIDDLERS FIND, or “Wesley” at home. He was found in a dealer’s yard when Tom was only 14-years-old, and proved difficult to ride at first, but this pairing went all the way to 5* winning Junior and Young Rider medals on the way.

His best result to date was his second place finish on CAPELS HOLLOW DRIFT at Burghley in 2022. HE is quoted as saying, “I hoped to finish in the top five, and would have been disappointed not to finish in the top ten.”

CAPELS HOLLOW DRIFT is known as “Walshy” at home, and is aimed at Badminton in 2023, with a spot at the Euros in his sights.

He is trained and mentored by Pippa Funnell, who asked him to ride COURT JASPER for her, because he was too big for her.
