Equine Event Photography

Good equine photography isn’t about having a good camera. It’s about knowing the discipline, where to position yourself, understanding how the light will change in the next hour, and reading an animal’s movement well enough to shoot at exactly the right moment to flatter horse and rider.

I’ve been working at equestrian events — from local showing classes to Burghley and Badminton — for over 20 years. That experience means I don’t waste time finding the shot. I know where it is.

Images are supplied to riders, owners, sponsors, event organisers, and publications. They’re shot to a quality standard that works equally well in print, for social media, or for licensing, because that’s what the client expects.
