Commercial &
Editorial Photography
Commercial Shoot, EssexWork that gets
published and used
Commercial and editorial photography for the equestrian world requires something most generalist photographers can’t offer: the ability to anticipate the shot before it happens, because you understand the sport, the animal, and the lighting conditions involved.
I’ve been supplying images to National and international publishers for over 35 years. That means understanding deadlines, working efficiently on location, and delivering files that meet the technical standards required for print and digital publication.
Whether the brief is a brand campaign requiring clean, licensable assets, an editorial feature requiring genuine atmosphere, or advertising imagery that needs to work across multiple formats, I’ve done it many times.

From brief to delivery
Brief & scope
Tell me what you're producing, who it's for, and when you need it. I'll confirm whether I'm available and outline what's realistic within your budget and timeline.
Pre-production
For commercial shoots: location scouting, lighting plan, shot list, call sheet. For editorial commissions: confirmation of accreditation, event schedule, and deliverable format.
Shoot
On-location photography — efficiently, without fuss. I know when the shot is there and when to move. No drama, no overtime surprises.
Edit & deliver
Fully processed and colour-graded files delivered in the format you need — print-ready TIFF, web JPEG, or both. Typically within 48 hours for editorial; agreed timelines for commercial.
