From London and the South: Leave the M11 at junction 9 (A11) and proceed up the A11 for about 10 miles. Leave the A11 onto the A1304 towards Newmarket (Six Mile Bottom) and continue along this road until you reach the traffic lights on Newmarket High Street. Turn right into The Avenue passing Tattersalls on your right. Having left Newmarket the first village you will enter will be Cheveley (3 miles). Turn right at the crossroads and climb the hill. At the top of the hill the road bends round to the left and then straightens. Turn left opposite the Primary School into Star and Garter Lane. Jasmine Cottage has a thatched roof and is directly ahead of you as you proceed up the lane.
From Cambridge and the West: Leave the A14 at Quy (A1303), take the first exit at the roundabout and proceed towards Newmarket. Take the second exit at the July Course roundabout (Stallion Statue) and continue along this road until you reach the traffic lights on Newmarket High Street. Turn left towards Moulton at the crossroads and then take the third right, on the other side of Moulton, towards Cheveley. Proceed straight at crossroads and climb the hill. At the top of the hill the road bends round to the left and then straightens. Turn left opposite the Primary School into Star and Garter Lane. Jasmine Cottage has a thatched roof and is directly ahead of you as you proceed up the lane.
From Norwich and the North: Remain on A11 until it merges with the A14. Leave A14 at Newmarket and turn left at the top of the slip road towards the town centre. Proceed straight across two small roundabouts and continue into town until you reach the "clocktower" roundabout. Proceed straight across (second exit) this roundabout, pass the gallops on your left and then turn left at the T-junction next to the "New Wellington" public house. The first village you will enter will be Cheveley (3 miles). Turn right at the crossroads and climb the hill. At the top of the hill the road bends round to the left and then straightens.
